To Protect workers who are injured on the job . This law gives you the right to be compensated for on the job injuries that are caused by the negligence of the railroad or any of its employees .

        You are not automatically entitled to receive compensation from the railroad for injuries that occur on the job . You  must prove that your injury was caused at least partially by the negligence of the railroad or any of its employees .
