LOCAL 610
During Julys meeting, there will be discussion/explanation of
a proposed increase in Local union dues. Members at this time will be able to ask questions as well as suggest another resolution.
The proposal is:
1. An increase
of $4.00, thus increasing the members’ local contribution to $10.00 monthly.
During the August meeting, attending members only, will vote by secret ballot, as per Article 48 of the UTU
Constitution. Any questions may be directed to your Local/Vice Local Chairman or President.

UTU LOCAL 610
During July’s meeting, there will be discussion of changes
to the Local By-Laws, Article 5, concerning the salaries of the Secretary/Treasurer and the board of Trustees. Members will
at this time be able to ask questions as to the details of these proposed changes. The proposed changes are as follows:
1. Reduce the Secretary/Treasurers
salary by 1 days pay monthly.
2. Reduce the Board of
Trustees salary to ½ day’s pay annually.
During
the August meeting these changes will be voted on. Votes will be cast by secret ballot and by attending members only,
per Article 48 of the UTU Constitution. Any questions may be directed towards your Local/Vice Local Chairman or President.
